I'm Marian Yousif, a York University Kinesiology graduate also certified through CanFit with a strong dedication to helping individuals of all fitness levels embark on a journey of self-improvement. With expertise in helping women transform into their dream body while looking and feeling your best

 

I'm Francis Toribio, A NASM-certified personal trainer,  Specializing in men looking to level up their daily habits by addressing 4 pillars of health. Exercise, Nutrition, Sleep and Stress management

DECIDE TO CHANGE

For some, succeeding could be about overcoming a personal struggle or breaking a bad habit. For others, it could mean making a positive impact on their community or the world. 

 

 It's all about progress, growth and fulfillment; it's not just about reaching a destination, but about the journey and the personal development that occurs along the way

Ultimately, growth is a mindset - a belief that you can achieve your goals, and a determination to take action and overcome any obstacle that comes your way. When you have a growth attitude, you not only achieve success, but you develop a sense of confidence and self-efficacy that can empower you to achieve even greater things.

CONQUER YOUR INNER VOICE

 

Conquering your inner voice can be a challenging but rewarding process

Reframe negative thoughts: Try to reframe negative thoughts into more positive ones that are based on facts. Instead of saying, "I'm going to fail," say, "I am capable of succeeding"

Visualize success: Visualize yourself achieving your goals, and imagine the positive emotions and feelings you might experience. Focus on the benefits that come with success

Surround yourself with positivity: Surround yourself with people who lift you up, and consume positive media that inspires you. This can help rewire your brain to think more positively and reduce the influence of negative self-talk.

Acknowledge the behaviour: Admitting to yourself that you engage in self-destructive behaviour is the first step towards changing the behaviour. You cannot change something that you don't acknowledge.

Identify triggers: Identify situations, people, or emotions that trigger self-destructive behaviour. Once you identify the triggers, you can take steps to avoid them or develop coping mechanisms to manage them.

Replace the behaviour with positive activities: Replace self-destructive behaviour with more positive and healthy activities. Set goals and track progress: Set achievable goals for change and track your progress over time. Celebrate small victories and use them as momentum for continuing to make progress.
